Jieun felt uneasy. Her stomach began to flop and turn and bile threatened to rise. She doubled over, golden hues clenching together in anguish. She wasn’t sure why now– of all the times to be nervous why was it now, better yet why was she nervous to begin with? It definitely wasn’t the pressure– no, that was something she was used to. Maybe it was the thought of having to be feminine. She hated the idea of having to be anything less than herself, and Jieun definitely was not feminine. It’s not that she didn’t look feminine because if anything she was the epitome of just that. Cute and girly. She had it all in looks but it faltered so from her personality that eventually she began to find it sickening. every shooting, and every fan meet, or anything that had to do with human contact, she knew that she would once again have to put on that fake smile and use that fake bubbly and giddy charm she always did when it came to the public. It felt like such a lie, and it made her sick to her stomach. She wasn’t good at these types of things and it was facing herself in the mirror, lips painted in red, golden cloth draped against the white lace that covered her shoulders, that she repeated the words of an old love.
“this isn’t you.”
The words stung in the back of her mind and she repeated them to herself once more aloud before snatching off the flower crown that was placed upon her head, and throwing it to the ground. “Fuck this shoot. I’m not doin’ it.” With that she stormed off, harshly throwing open the dressing room door. She was hardly paying attention to her surroundings, and more focused on getting out of this place. Everything else blurred in the corners of her vision, and it wasn’t a surprise when she found herself thrown into the ground after colliding with what seemed to be a tall blonde, dressed in similar clothing. White lace, golden cloth, and those same rose flowers tucked anywhere that seemed appropriate.
Oh please don’t tell me, this is the girl I have to work with. She thought to herself, as she struggled to help herself back to her feet. It wasn’t that she cared much about who she had to work with– she just wasn’t too happy about having run into them when she wanted to do the exact opposite. She wanted to run as far away as possible. Go home. Relax. Listen to some A$AP rocky maybe. She wanted an easy runaway, but surely running into this girl would deem that difficult. Jieun rolled her eyes slightly annoyed as she finally made it to her feet, brushing herself off.
“watch where you’re goin’ next time yeah?” She said, her eyes finally meeting the much older looking female, who wasn’t to happy about having been run into.
